Twitter Addict and the death of an Angel and the King
I spent all of my sleeping hours last night twitting. I'm a confessed Twitter addict. Shocked at first, when I saw Mar Roxas (our Senator) following me on Twitter (but I followed him first, so you know. LOL). I believe I can't say bad things about him from now on, right? LOL
Gosh! It's so sad to hear about the deaths of Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson, once an angel and a king. It's so tragic. I hope that their families will be ok. Hope that they will be remembered forever.
RIP - The Charlie's Angel - Ms. Farrah Fawcett and The King of Pop - Michael Jackson.

my howe and terminator
After so many tries and so many tears (LOL), I got it! I was able to blackmail (hahaha) my *Howe in watching movie from the big screen. We've seen Terminator Salvation at Eastwood City Walk 2 last Saturday, June 6. We kind of started the movie date with a fight. He did not want to spend his time watching and just wanted to work, while I wanted to spend some time with him and I really wanted him to relax. He's so over worked! He's so workaholic! I know that he will enjoy the movie because it's really good. By the way, you have to check out my review about the movie HERE! In the end, he enjoyed it and his sour mood lasted only for 10 minutes! Now, am I good or am I good? LOL! Hope that we could do it again...

how time flies
I can’t believe it when my sister told me that my niece (Althea) will start her school year next week. What? My comment was…it’s too early! Not yet! Really? We have not done any thing productive this summer. I haven’t had the chance to teach her how to paint and swim. How time flies! It’s already June! The summer already ended.
June is not my favorite month. First, the school year starts this month. For me, it means expenses and traffic. Forgive me for my shallowness but that’s what I feel. Hmp! If the school starts again, it’s equal to heavy traffic especially during rush hour. And of course, expenses, you know! Hahaha! Right now, Althea and her mom is back on school again. Actually, I’m not telling her but I’m proud of my sister Leah because she decided to do something in her life again aside from being a mom. She studied again. I actually don’t know what was the course she took (bad ko noh?), basta it’s a four year course. Yun na! So add it up to her two years in STI where she took Information Technology, she studied six years! Tagal! She beat me there coz I studied only five years for ECE. And that time I felt like I can’t wait to graduate, start earning to help my family and definitely start my life. Now, after working for nearly seven years, I’m simply tired and wanted to study again. Now how’s that for “circle of life”? hahaha
Actually, I’m thinking of studying again but how can I do that when I don’t think I have the means? Do you know any scholarship for people who want to take Masterals? Haayyy…. I don’t know…. Our company does not have that kind of program. So if you want to expand your knowledge, you have to do it on your own. On your own expense and all… Tell me if you‘re aware of any programs like that, ok?
Second, I don’t like the month of June because it’s the start of rainy season here in the Philippines. Who wants to go to work wet? And almost everyday there’s always a huge chance of being stranded because of flood and traffic, huh?
But!
I can love the month of June…if I can hear the ‘bells’.
Tan tan ta nan… Tan tan ta nan…

Friends with Angels and Demons
It’s been six weeks since I last saw Aimz. It was when we landed back here in the Philippines from our long trip in Hong Kong. Yup! Six weeks! So imagine all the gossips and chikas that piled up! Whew!
Last May 29, we went to Trinoma and watched Angels and Demons (my second time watching) starring Tom Hanks (to read about my movie reaction, click HERE). By the way, thanks to Malensky for her late birthday treat, for the movie and for that double cheeseburger from McDo. Thanks Len! Mwha! Love it!
So, the movie started at 4pm and ended 20 minutes after 6. And, since it’s a grand sale of the mall, we tried to stroll along the sale items. I purchased a dry bag. YUP! I got a dry bag for our Caramoan trip in July. I also got three new blouses from Mint at 50% off! Cheap prices! Really! After that we went ahead and had our dinner, then our desert and then shopping again. :)
Here's the three of us eating at World Chicken (Trinoma Branch)
Malen and Aimz
Aimz and moiah!
The food - aside from the quarter pounder chicken, you have to select two side dishes, I had potato salad and fettuccini.
For deserts, we had Crazy Crepes
It was a little late when we decided to go home (considering that we have to work early the next day). But before we reached the exit, Aimz told us about this great stall nearby where they have an everyday sale of brand new and second hand books. WOW! I got my Mitch Albom's Five People You'll Meet in Heaven and For One More Day, and it's only P350 and P300 respectively. WOW! It's a real great price! I only need one book to complete my Mitch Albom's. So does this mean that I'm collecting his novels? We'll see...
Thanks again Lizzie for the CDs of our pictures from Hong Kong and Aimz for bringing it! :) Mwha!
Can't wait for our next movie date, we have lined up several: The Proposal, Up, Terminator Salvation, Transformers, and Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince!
